Described by many divers as the best course they’ve EVER done and believed by many to be the most fun and rewarding course, Rescue Diver provides you with the knowledge and skills you may need just in case something goes wrong. It helps build your confidence in diving, introducing you to situations first the pools and then running scenarios on the beach. This course is a must for those looking to take their dive experience further. By the time you complete the course, you will be in a position to not only help others but also yourself.
All you need to begin Rescue Diver is at least Adventure Diver or equivalent, be 12 years old, and in good general health. You need to have a valid first aid certification, either Emergency First Responder or dive medic or equivalent, completed within the last two years. Deep blue sea Diving runs Emergency First Responder training courses every day, at our dive center in Deep Blue Sea. For more information on our course, please see below.

Schedule
The rescue course runs from our dive center in DEEP BLU SEA. It’s two full days, starting at 9 am and involves classroom sessions, pool training, and rescue scenarios.  
Emergency First Response
A pre-requisite for the Rescue Diver course, the DIVE MIDEC OR Emergency First Response (EFR) course is open to anybody wishing to learn essential first aid knowledge and skills, including CPR, providing emergency oxygen and how to appropriately treat burns, scalds or injuries from wildlife. EFR certifications are recognized almost everywhere in the world and they are one of the foremost international CPR and first aid training organizations. Having an EFR certification gives you the confidence to respond to medical injuries, both on land as well as at sea.
There are no pre-requisites to the DIVE MIDEC OR EFR course and you DON’T have to be completing the Rescue Diver course to take it. This course is open to everyone – divers and non-divers alike.
